Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Topmost Flourish Ventures handles information when cooperatives, administrators and members use COOPA.

Last updated: 25 September 2026

1. Information we handle

COOPA may store names, phone numbers, cooperative membership, account roles and recovery-code information needed to provide access. Your PIN and recovery code are protected and are not stored as readable text.

Cooperative administrators may enter contribution records, opening balances, loan details, repayments, payment dates, notes and correction history. We also keep subscription status, payment references and reported bank-transfer details needed to operate billing.

2. How information is used

  • Provide phone-and-PIN access and account recovery.
  • Show cooperative records, balances, statements, ledgers and reports.
  • Process subscription payments and confirm access.
  • Send requested or scheduled loan-repayment reminders.
  • Protect the service, investigate errors and maintain an audit trail.

3. Who can see cooperative records

Access depends on the user's role. Members can access information made available for their own account. Cooperative administrators can manage records for their cooperative. Topmost Flourish Ventures may access limited information when necessary to operate, secure, support or bill for COOPA.

4. Service providers

We use service providers to host COOPA, process payments and deliver SMS messages. They receive only the information needed to perform their service. Payment details entered in the Paystack payment window are handled by Paystack under its own privacy terms; COOPA receives payment status and reference information.

5. Data security and retention

We use access controls and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Records may be kept while a cooperative uses COOPA and afterwards where needed for financial history, dispute handling, security, backup or legal obligations. Removing a member disables access but may not immediately erase historical cooperative records.

6. Your choices

Members should ask their cooperative administrator to correct account or cooperative records. Administrators can correct records through the available audit-controlled tools. You may stop using COOPA, but some records may remain where retention is necessary for the reasons above.

7. Questions and changes

For a privacy question, use our contact form or contact your cooperative administrator. When you submit the form, we store your name, optional cooperative name, reply phone number or email, request type and message to respond to your request. Contact requests are private and accessible only to the COOPA platform owner. We may update this policy as COOPA changes and will revise the date shown above.
